Warehousing

Technology

Capitol Warehousing utilizes the RAMP Warehouse Management software to track all products in and out of the warehouse. We track your pallet ID if you have them on your products otherwise we can apply our own barcoded Pallet ID to your products in order to maintain inventory control. When product is received in the warehouse a receipt is generated and a copy is provided to you. Similarly with all outbound shipments we can generate a VICS Bill of Lading with your shipment information for the carrier who is picking up your products. RAMP software allows us to utilize barcode scanning and also offers a website portal for customers to access their inventory online 24/7.

Transloading

The Windsor location offers Rail to truck transloading of bulk materials. Our 20-acre transloading rail yard has offers 3 day per week switching on the Canadian Pacific (CP) and we have the ability to spot 80 railcars at a time. We have a 4-car spot inside our warehouse that allows us to load and unload boxcars as needed.

We currently process over 1,000 LTL and small parcel orders per day. We offer labeling, returns processing and repackaging of your products.
